Entry-level Sales Professional Training

Job Description

Softworld is seeking early-career sales professionals for our Waltham, MA and Fairfax, VA offices, with a focus on B2B sales and staffing. The role starts with several weeks of paid training at our Waltham headquarters, covering staffing, consulting, and more. After training, Sales Associates will begin their roles.

Solutions Manager (Sales)

Softworld is seeking individuals for business development in the IT, Engineering, and Government services space including the following: territory management, lead identification and qualification, cold calling, setting appointments, creating and developing proposals and pricing models, making presentations, documenting customer agreements (e.g., contract, service agreement), closing sales through effective negotiation, documenting sales activities and may conduct business reviews.  After the account has been sold, the Business Development Representative is responsible for partnering with the companies to ensure effective service delivery. Successful business development will result in cost-effective, quality solutions for our customers for staffing, FSP, and professional services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop business with prospective strategic customers and penetration and retention of existing customers.
  • Possess a proven ability to develop business, build relationships, network, and communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate a strong internal/external customer focus and personal leadership, and solid negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Adhere to the sales metrics and thresholds.
  • Remain current with life science developments, competitive trends, and market conditions and their effect on business.
  • Operating within company policy, exercises discretion and independent judgment in making decisions.
  • Build and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships not only with decision-makers and end users at current and prospective customers, but also with community leaders and representatives from relevant business associations.

Qualifications

  • BA preferred or relevant industry experience
  • 5+ years sales experience in a business to business or outside sales capacity.
  • Proven ability to develop business; build consultative relationships; thrive in a team environment and have effective networking skills.

Delivery Manager (Recruiter)

Softworld is currently seeking an experienced IT, Engineering, and government services Recruiters to join our growing teams.  A proven track record in the contract staffing or technical services industry is required.  Individuals with any amount of local or national contract Sales or Recruiting experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

  • Source and develop relationships with consultants through networking, cold/warm calling, and referrals
  • Utilize internal database, job boards, LinkedIn, Social Media, User Groups, and other sources to identify and recruit consultants within the industry.
  • Partner with Sales team to act as the SME with Softworld clients.
  • Manage candidates through the entire recruiting life cycle including submittal, interview preparation, offer acceptance, and onboarding.
  • Provide best in class service to Softworld’s billing consultants ensuring that their needs and expectations are being met.
  • Meet or exceed your personal Gross Profit and Start goals as set by your manager
  • Develop strong internal relationships with your sales partners to qualify reqs and deliver consultants to Softworld clients
  • Stay up to date on trends within the industries and technology sectors that you support

Qualifications

    • Strong background in recruiting IT, Engineering, or Government professionals
    • Expertise in search techniques using multiple sources
    • 2-4+ years of experience initiating and maintaining long-lasting consultant relationships.
    • Government Clearance Recruitment knowledge preferred.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills to be comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Enterprise Recruiting Team Program
