Softworld Helps Communications Provider Win Federal Bid and Expand Operations

Background 

 Softworld’s client provides voice, data and other related communications products and services to multilocation businesses and governmental agencies throughout the United States and Canada. They furnish services to more than two-thirds of the Fortune 100 companies in the United States, and 1.75 million voice and data lines under management.

 

The Challenge

Our client was part of a very competitive Federal Program bid, and due to their past success in the area, they were selected to participate. While they certainly had the technical know-how and ability, they simply didn’t have the cleared technical staff needed to fulfill the contract. Specifically, they needed support across all levels of their contracts, proposals, and pricing teams. Additionally, the client needed a management team put in place to oversee all processes.

The Solution

After meeting with multiple potential business partners, the client partnered with Softworld due to our proven track record supporting federal contracts, as well as our vast and trusted network of Federal Contractors. Softworld became a true partner throughout their process, making sure to fully understand their needs, goals, and budget to ensure that our delivery fully aligned with their vision.

The Results

Due to our expertise in providing cleared talent, Softworld was nimble enough to build out the entire team, as well as some additional roles that were not originally planned. The client has now grown out of their office space in Tyson’s Corner, VA and is expected to fill a new space with 100 staff members. Softworld will be continuing to assist the client as they move forward with expanding their operations, and currently have plans in place to build out a Network practice.
