Background
Softworld partnered with a non-profit research and development organization headquartered in Massachusetts. The laboratory specializes in the design, development, and deployment of advanced technology solutions to problems in national security, space exploration, health care, and energy. The expertise of the laboratory staff includes the areas of guidance, navigation, and control technologies and systems; fault-tolerant computing; advanced algorithms and software solutions; modeling and simulation; and microelectromechanical systems and multichip module technology.
The Challenge
The Laboratory has traditionally partnered with only three contract labor staffing agencies to satisfy their need for resources. Due to lack of production from one of their three partners, they ended their relationship with a well-known Boston-based staffing agency and started their search for a replacement.
The Solution
After reviewing RFPs from over 30 New England-based staffing firms, Softworld was selected as the client’s latest tier one staffing agency. Due to our experience in recruiting the specialized engineering and IT resources that Draper targets, Softworld was able to hit the ground running.
The Results
Since the contract award, Softworld has grown our presence from 0 to 41 active consultants. This work is predominately being performed at client’s HQ in MA, with a handful of consultants working at various other locations nationwide. We have established ourselves as a true consulting partner and are known as their premier tier one staffing agency both inside and out of the laboratory.
